The dinner was amazing. We had the wings, brussel sprouts (dont second guess it, just order them), and the mac and cheese. The server forgot our appetizer and never refilled my drink (I ate my meal with an empty glass the whole time) so the bread pudding was free. I wasnt a huge fan of the bread pudding. I also wasnt a big fan of the server. He was trying to talk to us like was were good buddies, but it just came off as if he was kind of lazy.

Might have been slightly underdressed but they treated up wonderfully. The wait staff was amazing and they got us a seat super fast even though it was a Friday night and we had no reservations. I had the half chicken which was very tasty. Will have to come back and try some more good food. The atmosphere in the restaurant was also very nice. I would recommend this place for date night!

The food here is delectable. The service is super fast and wait staff are super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Their sweet potato puree is outstanding!

One of the best burgers I’ve ever had!! I’m traveling for work on my own, so I wanted a quick spot to grab a bite. I will say, this is a pretty upscale casual joint. Plenty of menu items, but not too many. A good vibe and atmosphere too. The brisket burger was cooked to perfection. The fries were amazing and the wait staff was courteous. The owner made a point to stop by and make sure I was completely satisfied with my meal. That is top notch service on top of great food! I will be returning when I’m back in Charlotte.

I had the meatloaf with sweet potato puree and sauteed spinach. This was the best meatloaf over ever had. My wife doesn't like meatloaf and she enjoyed this. The sweet potato puree was wonderful! And sauteed spinach was just right. We almost went twice in one weekend trip, but just had to check out other places since we were here such a short time. Would definitely go back in the future.

This place is one of myFavorite places to visit while in town! Excellent selection of wine! Their entrees are delicious and very gourmet! I highly recommend coming here.

This was a very quaint restaurant with a big feel. The staff was great and made excellent recommendations when it came to food and wine. We had a party of 10 and they were able to seat us fairly quickly. The food was also excellent... especially the kale salad! I'd definitely come back. Great environment/atmosphere BUT subpar food quality. I probably won’t be back since they lack the critical factor of determining a great restaurant. Our waiter was friendly but was he one of the best? No. We started off with pickled veggies which tastes amazing and a bit more to the sour side; the fried oysters were subpar, the oysters were way over cooked and chewy. For our main course, my partner had the chicken pizza. It has nice presentation but the cheese was too thick and chicken was dry and chewy; I had scallops which was okay, the chef didn’t handle and cook them properly as there were some blue liquid leaking from the scallops. So yeah, nice atmosphere but poor food quality overall. Won’t be back.

Really enjoyed smoked wings with the Mac&Cheese. I sat at the bar to eat and enjoyed great service and a bourbon. If you enjoy a good selection of liquors and food that is a little different. Make your way in.

This place is good, definitely worth it! Had a great dinner at Rooster's Wood-fired Kitchen, complete with mixed greens salad, brussel sprouts with bacon and rose basalmic, pork BBQ, and Oreo peanut butter brownie and gelato dessert. The pork was a tad salty for me but very rich and literally fell apart. The brussel sprouts were insane but the show stealer was the brownie with gelato, it was perfection. I also had their take on a French 75 cocktail, which was a refreshing departure from the usual.

First time here and loved it! Service was excellent. Vegetarian options were delicious. I cant wait to go back!

The open kitchen is great. Shows you they are an experienced staff using fresh quality ingredients. We had family style: beets, spinach, pulled pork, chicken, salmon with bread pudding for desert. Salad was good. The main meal was ok. I liked the roster beets the best. Everyone else said it was great. Maybe it's my California taste buds. 😋.

You're guaranteed to have a delicious meal here. We ate at the chef's counter -- best seats in the place. I highly recommend checking this place out!

We had a late dinner after a day of the Whitewater Center - we were starving and very few options open late w/in walking distance of where we were staying. Service is excellent, good wine selection. I had the beef short ribs and mashed potatoes. It was good but the ribs were a bit too salty. Food was fresh. We had a group of 6, everyone seemed pleased. A smidge pricey, however.

The food was insanely good! Like I wasn't expecting such delicious And beautifully presented food. The garden area is the perfect place to dine of you have a bigger party. I really hope they're able to rebuild.

Awesome place. Food is amazing. One of the rare times I have seen everyone at a table of 7 eat everything on their plates! Everything was great but their smoked chicken wings were a favorite of our group.

My sister and I ate here before we went to see Aladdin at the Belk Theater and we were so pleasantly surprised. We were greeted, and complimented, very kindly by the host and hostesses and our server, Stefan, was very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious(especially the fried okra) and the service was phenomenal. Every aspect was wonderful and it created a perfect sister date night for us. 10/10 would definitely recommend!!!

Came here for dinner for my birthday and it was the perfect choice! I loved everything from the environment to all the food we tasted. We each got a yummy cocktail and then opted to try a bunch of small plates. They were all so good (scallops, steak, Mac and cheese to name a few). Perhaps my favorite was the brownie and ice cream with a candle! This was the perfect place for my friends to choose to make me feel celebrated!

Amazing service and food! Comfortable seating with a warm atmosphere. My short rib was perfection! Vegetables were delicious! Packing was free, but was pretty limited as the evening progressed. I look forward to my next visit!

Honestly this is our go to restaurant. We love the tapas style dishes. We have never had a bad meal here and there are always outstanding taste across the table as we share. One of my favorites is their Duck, I cut it into smaller pieces to enjoy every bite.Mushroom, corn, succotash

So , this is our go to on an every couple week basis. Essentially , they always get the food right and the service is great. The variety of fresh local fare is hard to match. Every other place that has this diversity tries so hard to be relevant and fresh , ROOSTER'S does it every day , every week and every month..... If you want fantastic local fare in Charlotte , Rooster's is hard to beat. Great drinks , appetizers and entrees....All local sourced and prepared with great flavor. Wedding night. Dinner was amazing. Prices are a bit high but everything is a la carte. You definitely get what you pay for. The service is incredible. Definitely going back on an anniversary or holiday.

Grab a seat at the kitchen bar if you want a show and a meal. Great list of specialty drinks/cocktails with premium ingredients. Great wine list, even the house wines are excellent. Service is very good, the meals are assembled with care and thought, with perfect pairings of fresh ingredients in new combinations along with standbys. Everyone in our party enjoyed the food, the show, the drinks, and the ambiance.

Everything we had was delicious, and the service was wonderful. We ordered the burger, a salad, Brussels sprouts (amazing!), and beets. There were so many other things that I would love to try if I'm ever back in Charlotte!

My family & I enjoyed a delightful dinner here and we were so pleased the service, the menu selections and the price was right. Some of the wines & drinks on the menu also had special donations to local charities if you ordered from that list of selections. We enjoyed a few of the specials for the evening - the gnocchi & shrimp were so yummy! the Brussels sprouts were so well prepared and a real treat. The fried calamari were perfectly prepared and obviously fresh. The salmon was very good too.

Highly disappointing! I ordered delivery and $25 steak as shown in the pic!!!! $11 asparagus and $8 salad came as if i got some take out from whole foods!! No napkins, no knife/fork. You gotta be kidding me! Not to mention everything got delivered COLD!***update: Manager Mike has been really polite and promised to resolve the refund issue. Will update again once I hear back.***update: everything got resolved, i got a refund from Postmates. I will never use postmates again. Upping my review to 4 stars for the restaurant.

Fantastic grill in Bank of America building in downtown. Many southern favorites including North Carolina seafood (shrimp, fish), organic chicken, pork, and steak. Very large number of side veggies. You can make a meal on veggies alone. Combined with very friendly service and fairly priced wines...I'm coming back.

High class Southern/American cuisine. Nestled in Uptown with 2 stories and garden seating this is the perfect spot for special occasion parties. The menu can be pricey but the dishes are worth it! Try the duck breast and potatoes au gratin.

BBQ rotisserie chicken and a side of Mac and Cheese. Absolutely perfect.

Excellent! Pork Chop is fantastic. Pimento Cheese app is outstanding, too.

We had a great experience at Roosters when visiting from out of town for the Bon Jovi concert. The restaurant was packed but we were able to sit at a family-style table downstairs. It was a great environment in the wait staff was very attentive. The Wood Fire Grilled food was absolutely delicious. I would recommend the wings, the mushroom side dish and the steak. They also had a good selection of craft beer. This restaurant is a great place to stop for a night on the town.

Roosters is a lovely establishment with friendly staff and tasty food. I found the menu challenging though. Everything is a la cart. I found it confusing and pricey. I got frustrated and just ordered fried calamari for my appetizer and the brisket burger with salad for my entree. Bread pudding cooked to order... allow 20 mins. The fried calamari was exceptional.Validated parking for One Bank of America garage. Entrance on N College Street.

Amazing food and great wait staff. I would recommended a reservation for dinner. Though we didn't have a res, they were able to find a place for us. The service was prompt and wait staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. We had their wings (best wings I've had!), mac & cheese (also delicious), asparagus, and the short ribs (very good, but a bit salty for my taste). We were only visiting the area, but will definitely go back if we make it to Charlotte again!

Always a great place to eat. The food is always served nice and hot and very swiftly. The service is always kind and helpful with the menu.

Amazing service. ! I was in Charlotte for a overnight layover and since I was hungry. The people at Enterprise suggested that place. I do not regret it. The wing's or some of the best I've ever had. The Mac an cheese is good. And the service is excellent. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for fast service and good price.
